1. Who's your favourite character in 2? (Dark Angel)

Ooh, tough choice. I love Max to bits, she’s just awesome, but... Alec. He is a complex character, and I love him as a character, especially with the friendship (and possibly more) he has with Max.

02. Who's your least favourite character in 1? (Supernatural)

Surprisingly, not the major evil characters. The villains are actually pretty cool. I would have to say Cassie (who dumps Dean, not once, but twice) or Jake (cowardly ass).

03. What's your favourite episode of 4? (Dr. Horrible)

Hmm, episode? Act, I guess. I’ll choose (even though I know Act 1 off by heart...) Act 3, because it is just filled with awesome songs, and it is such a great-but-twisted ending.

04. What's your favourite season of 5? (Dollhouse)

Season 1? Maybe I chose the wrong order for my fics for this meme, but Dollhouse only has one season as of yet.

05. Who is your favourite ship in 3? (How I Met Your Mother)

Barney and Robin. I just love them, as a couple who are so wrong for relationships, yet so perfect for each other.

06. Who is your antiship in 2? (Dark Angel)

Max/Logan. I read it if it is good, but I think that they aren’t right for each other. Alec/Max, however...

07. How long have you watched 1? (Supernatural)

Since about half way through the first season, and I haven’t missed and episode. Yes, I am obsessed, could you tell? :D

08. How did you become interested in 3? (How I Met Your Mother)

Searching for anything involving NPH actually, after seeing Dr. Horrible. He is just a brilliant actor.

09. Who's your favourite actor/actress in 4? (Dr. Horrible)

See question 8. ;) NPH definitely.

10. Which do you prefer: Show 1 or 2 or 5? (Supernatural) (Dark Angel) (Dollhouse)

Supernatural wins as my ultimate addiction, but it is a very close race!

11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3? (Supernatural) (How I Met Your Mother)

Probably HIMYM, just because (with the same amount of seasons) SPN season 3 was cut short, and I have seen every episode of both. Supernatural, however, I have seen every episode about 5 or 6 times, so... :)

12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be? (Dr. Horrible)

Dr. Horrible, even with everything that happens, he is still awesome. (I would choose Penny, but, Hammer? Really Penny?)

13. How would you kill off your favourite character in 1? (Supernatural)

Dean, in many varied, fun, and morbid ways. Though he is usually saving Sam from something...

14. Give a random quote from 1? (Supernatural)

(said by a demon they caught): “You know, if you wanted to tie me up... all you had to do is ask. *coy smirk*” Meg is just epic.

15. Would a 3/4 crossover work? (Dr. Horrible) (Dollhouse)

Hmm, maybe. Never thought about that one. I guess the Dollhouse could be some more subtle extension of the ELE, maybe (in a future AU) when Dr. Horrible runs the ELE, and decides to do some more evil through the elegant mastermind plots than through mass murders or anything. Damn, now I want to write that.

16. Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple (Supernatural)

I’d like to see Cas/Anna, but maybe that’s not odd enough for this question. I think Dean/Jess would be quite cool, though I wouldn’t want Dean stealing her from Sam.

17. Has 5 inspired you in any way? (Dollhouse)

I have about 3 Dollhouse fics on the go, does that count? And I can’t hear the word Alpha or Echo or Victor without thinking of Dolls.

18. Overall, which show has a better cast, 2 or 4? (Dark Angel) (Dr. Horrible)

Overall... Dark Angel. Jensen Ackles is fantastic for both Ben and Alec, Jessica Alba just is the part of Max, and despite my not liking Logan, Michael Weatherly is great.

19. Which has better theme music, 3 or 5? (How I Met Your Mother) (Dollhouse)

Dollhouse. The music is creepy and cool and fits perfectly with the show’s concept. (Though you have to love the youtube vid of the creators of HIMYM ‘singing’ the show’s theme song.)

This quote has been driving me crazy!

I love it, but I can't for the life of me remember where I read / heard it! It was most probably a book or fanfic on LJ, but possibly a movie or TV show, but I just don't know.

If anyone knows it / wrote it, please let me know! I want to read / watch the rest of whatever it belongs to. :)

Graphic design / Photoshop help?

Hey to anyone interested in creating graphics on photoshop! I have a question for you...

My friend is trying to change the lighting on a picture, as in putting two pictures together to create one, and the lighting is always too different for it to look right. Does anyone know how to change the lighting on a picture in photoshop? My friend has tried colouring the picture with a very opaque colour to change it, but he loses the shading and shadows doing that, and it still doesn't look right.

So, if anyone knows how to do this, I'd love to hear from you!

Hey everyone!

I'll keep this short, because no one knows me here yet anyway, and because I have absolutely no idea how to use LJ-cuts. (if anyone could teach me, that'd be great!)

As a tentative first step into the public realm of fanfiction (I write privately but I don't post publicly yet, I'm nervous) I'm offering short ficlets to the first ten to comment me (and possibly more, depending on time).

Maybe everyone will ignore me, but if you see this (I think I have a few friends on here, maybe) then you are welcome to ask. I won't be giving fics to anonymous comments though, sorry.

Basically, you can choose two of the following (from fandoms I know, listed at the bottom)

Character, Pairing, Fandom/or/Crossover, Object, and Prompt "quote".

You can also specify the mood/emotion, and anything you would hate to be included (e.g. slash if that bugs you, or a certain paring, or whatever). I am happy to try different levels of darkness, just discuss it with me, but I'm not venturing too far into smut at this point. :)

Anyway, if you're interested, comment me. If I sound like an idiot or a total newbie, let me know. If you want me to shut up... well, let me know but I may cry. (jokes...maybe) I don't know how this idea will work (it may epically fail) but I'm happy to try!
